CHRISTMAS PARTY
History
For years this event was held at the Ellerslie Rugby Club. Music was provided by Sean (goalie and DJ).
In 2014 the venue was switched to the Mill Woods Golf Course with music provided by Ash Nagorski.
Annual Awards are presented. For years these included "Peas in a Pod", "Mr Hook”, and Directionally Challenged".
The “Dave Kates Ping Pong Champion” was added to the Annual Awards in 2015.

“The award was started by three fellows. Buddy Noon (photo top left) bought the prosthetic arm for $1 at a garage sale. Johnny Young was involved in most mischief in those days. Jack Manson was a willing accomplice. Hughie Lapin was the first recipient.

Original award was 2 uniforms sewn together by Terry Proskurniak's wife. Buddy Noon bought the current award at a garage sale for $1.

A good time was had by all.
A near capacity 110 persons attended the 2012 Annual Vintage Hockey Christmas Party at the Ellerslie Rugby Club. There was an abundance of good food, good music provided by Sean (goalie and DJ) and good cheer. The annual awards were announced for "Peas in a Pod", "Mr Hook" and 'Directionally Challenged". See pictures along with a few shots of happy party goers. In addition there was a lot of good old visiting between friends. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. See you in 2013.
